Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb steak tips (sirloin or ribeye)
  • 10 oz rigatoni pasta
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp butter (divided)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Season steak tips with Cajun seasoning. Heat olive oil and 1 tbsp butter in a skillet over medium-high heat, then sear the steak until browned on all sides. Remove and set aside.
  2. In a large pot, boil salted water and cook rigatoni until al dente. Drain pasta and reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water.
  3. In the same skillet, add the remaining butter and sauté garlic until fragrant. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
  4. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted, then season with salt, pepper, and more Cajun seasoning if desired.
  5. Toss cooked rigatoni into the sauce mixture, adding reserved pasta water as needed for consistency. Fold in seared steak tips gently.
  6. Serve immediately garnished with extra Parmesan cheese.
