  • 1 cup + 6 tablespoons unsalted butter (cold)

  • 1½ cups apple butter
  • 3 large eggs
  • ¼ cup dark brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla paste or extract
  • 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Prepare the pie crust by combining flour, salt, and cold butter in a food processor until crumbly. Gradually add cold water to form dough. Chill for 1-2 hours before rolling out.
  2. Roll out the dough and fit it into a pie dish. Par-bake the crust at 375°F for 20 minutes.
  3. For the filling, whisk together apple butter, eggs, brown sugar, flour, vanilla extract, sweetened condensed milk, heavy cream, powdered sugar, and cinnamon until smooth.
  4. Pour the filling into the pre-baked crust and bake at 375°F for about 60 minutes or until set. Let cool before serving.
